How I am who I am.
Grew up in the Kansas City advertising scene.
Paid dues. Went from a small shop to a little bigger shop, then to a little bigger.
Landed at CP+B where I was hired by my advertising idol. No pedigree. No ad school. Just a work ethic and a drive that makes Rocky look like a couch potato. I was an experiment for them and it worked.
Wrote a TV spot for Windows Phone and got over a million views on YouTube in a week. Helped create one of the newest advertising icons with Hotels.com’s Captain Obvious. Made some friends in high places.
Then took what I learned back to KC where I got tech geeks to pose in their underwear for a little known tech company called Dice.com. The campaign received press with zero PR support in the US and in Europe. And the original brief was for a single billboard.
Arrived back in Boulder a couple years later to work with my friends at Victors & Spoils. Watch this space because this story is just getting started.
